Belmont University Copyright Society
The Belmont University Copyright Society (BU©S) is designed to be an educational resource for current copyright issues by introducing guest speakers and activities which promote the study of copyright law. Members of BU©S are provided with an educational forum on campus where they can explore issues concerning copyright law. Members are challenged to think progressively and encourage the improvement of copyright law to promote the progress of music. BU©S provides knowledge of how copyright law applies to its members within the music industry. Members of the BU©S have access to enriched knowledge of current issues related to copyright law which have many career applications for musicians, law students, and music industry hopefuls.
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
· Undergraduate or graduate student and maintain a 2.5 GPA
· Pay $5 dues per academic year
