Annual Security Information Report
The Student Right-to-Know and Campus Security Act, signed into law November 8, 1990, and subsequently revised, requires institutions of higher education such as Belmont University to issue an annual report describing campus security procedures, facilities, policies, crime prevention programs, statistics and other information. The purpose of the report is to give individuals in the university community the information they need for their personal safety and security while on campus. The 2005/2006 Annual Security Information Report containing campus crime reporting procedures, policies, sexual harassment and sexual offense policies, crime statistics and a list of victim advocates is available for viewing on the Web at www.belmont.edu/security2005.pdf. A hard copy version is available through the Office of Admissions.
